
Christine Kim Wins Ivy League Individual Championship, Bears Place 6th Overall

Bethlehem, PA – Brown freshman Christine Kim (San Jose, CA) rolled in a two-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to claim the Ivy League Individual Championship at the Ivy League Women's Golf Championship at the par 72, 6,303 yard Saucon Valley Country Club Grace Course. Overall, the Bears finished with a 54-hole 955, finishing sixth.
Harvard captured the team championship by one shot (923) over Yale (924), followed by Columbia (929), Princeton (936), Penn (947), Brown (955( and Dartmouth (990)
Kim finished 54 holes in 227 (75-77-75), tied with Yale's Manika Liu, who shot 78-76-73—227.
Both players returned to the par-five 518 yard first hole at Saucon Valley. Kim hit a strong drive, laid up with a three iron and stuck a pitching wedge less than two-feet from the hole. Liu missed her birdie putt and Kim knocked in her putt for birdie and the league's individual title.
Freshman Sienna Chapman (Racine, WI) finished 21st individually on rounds of 78-82-80—240. Bears' sophomore Rosanna Lederhausen (Hinsdale, IL) came in at 247 on rounds of 83-78-85, while senior Cassandra Carothers (Jacksonville, OR) shot 85-78-85—248. Junior Lauren Flynn (Milton, MA) finished at 254 for 54 holes on rounds of 82-91-81.
