
Brown 12th at Princeton Invitational

Brown placed 12th at the Princeton Invitation in the 36-hole tournament played at two of the nation's top courses – the Aronimink Golf Club and the Merion Golf Club, site of the 2013 United States Open Championship. Brown shot a two-day 619 on rounds of 310-309.
Yale ran away with the team title on rounds of 291-280—571 followed by Temple (586), Seton Hall (586), Rutgers (590), Princeton (593), Penn (599), St. Joseph's (600), St. John's (600), Georgetown (604), Cornell (605), Dartmouth (605), Brown (619) and Rider (620).
Senior captain Justin Miller stepped up his game, finishing 17th individually after shooting 74 at Aronimink and 72 at Merion for a 36-hole 146. Freshman Ben Warner was Brown's second leading scorer after shooting 77-79—156.
Junior Jack Wilson had scores of 79-80—159, while sophomore Chad Carlson shot 81-78—159. Sophomore Connor Lynch finished at 162 on rounds of 80-82.
The Bears are back in action again next week, April 18-19, at the Yale Invitational played at the Yale Golf Course.
