Skiing Runs Winning Streak to 38 at Crotched Mountain

BENNINGTON, N.H.- Continuing its amazing run, the Brown skiing team scored its 37th and 38th consecutive MacConnell Division victories this weekend at Crotched Mountain in the St. Anselm Carnival.
Sophomore Natalie Pearl (Steamboat Springs, Colo.) took first place in the slalom and giant slalom events this weekend, tallying her seventh victory of the season as the Bears raced ahead of second-place Castleton State for the second consecutive week.
Ali Gunesch (Sandy, Ore.) grabbed second and third place finishes this weekend, while Katie Liebowitz (Bedford, N.Y.), Sylvia Bertrand (Hanover, N.H.), and Nika Mosenthal (Plymouth, N.H.) also added top-10 finishes to their resume at Crotched Mountain.
Brown will look to make it 40 in a row next weekend at West Mountain Ski Resort in Queensbury, N.Y.
