
Cross Country Posts Three All-Region Selections

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore Natalie Schudrowitz (Milwaukee, Wis.) and junior Taylor Worthy (Medfield, Mass.) of the Brown women's cross country team, as well as senior Will Sheeran (Bellevue, Wash.) on the men's side, were named to the All-Northeast Region Team, announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The trio earned the distinction after placing among the top 25 finishers at the NCAA Northeast regional championship meets on Friday at Franklin Park.
Schudrowitz placed fourth overall in a time of 20:39.2 to earn a trip to Saturday's NCAA Championship as an individual qualifier. Schudrowitz, who also earned Second Team All-Ivy honors, is the first Brown women's runner to earn a spot at the NCAA Championship since Margaret Connelly in 2012. In addition, the women's team recently received six votes in the final NCAA Division I Cross Country National Coaches' Poll.
Worthy also posted a top-20 finish, as she took 19th in a time of 21:14.9. Sheeran led the men's team with a 24th-place finish as he finished the 10-kilometer course in a time of 31:19.
Schudrowitz will compete at the NCAA Championship on Saturday, November 21 at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
