Zingas Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – After scoring his first goal of the season, freshman Louis Zingas (Warren, Mich.) of the Brown University men's soccer team was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Zingas helped solidify the Bear defense and recorded his first goal to forge a tie against Boston College. Zingas' first collegiate goal with just under 10 minutes left in regulation helped Brown to the tie against the Eagles. Zingas then helped Brown end Harvard's winning streak with a 1-1 tie on Saturday.
