PRINCETON, N.J. – Three Princeton goals in the opening 18:21 of play doomed the Brown women's soccer team in a 5-0 loss to the Tigers on Saturday night at Roberts Stadium. The Bears fall to 5-5-2 and 0-1-2 in Ivy play while the Tigers improve to 4-3-3 and 2-0-1 in league play with the win.

The Bears were awarded a corner just a minute into the game and had a chance to jump on the board early as a scrum ensued off of Chloe Cross' boot into the box, however the Tigers managed the clear.

Haley Chow struck for the first of her two goals on the night in the third minute as her one-timer off a turnover sizzled past Yant and ricocheted off the post and in to put the Tigers up 1-0.

Boasting an 11-1 edge in shots in the opening half, Princeton struck again in the 16^th minute as Chow connected with a header off a free kick to put the Tigers up 2-0. Just three minutes later, the Tigers added their third marker of the night as Tyler Lussi cashed in with her league-leading seven goal of the season.

Cross tried to rally the Bears early in the second with two bids in the opening moments, however the senior captain just missed wide and high.

Lussi tallied two more goals within a five-minute span in the second half to cap off her hat trick and put the Bears into a 5-0 hole with under 30 minutes to play.

Sydney Calas (Bethesda, Md.) recorded Brown's lone shot on target in the 83^rd minute. The Tigers held an 18-6 advantage in shots and a 9-3 edge in corners. Carly Gould (Hampton Falls, N.H.) was booked for the game's lone yellow card in the 71^st minute.

Mallory Yant (Fenton, Mo.) made one stop before giving way to freshman Rylee Shumway (Los Angeles, Calif.) with 20 minutes left to play.

Brown returns to action on Monday for a Columbus Day showdown at Marist beginning at 4 p.m.
