Brown Squash Sweeps Middlebury and Colby

New Haven, CT - Brown's women's squash team swept weekend matches at the Yale Round Robin, defeating Colby, 9-0, and earning a thrilling 5-4 victory over Middlebury. Sophomore Emily Richmond posted a five game win over Middlebury, while also beating Colby.
Also earning wins over both Middlebury and Colby were junior Mina Shakarshy, sophomore Skylar Murphy, freshman Isabel Scherl and sophomore Isabel Pitaro. Senior Dori Rahbar dropped a five game match vs. Middlebury (7-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-1, 11-9), but earned a strong win at number one against Colby.
The Bears have a big weekend coming up, facing Princeton and Stanford on February 1 in Princeton, NJ, and the traveling to Philadelphia to battle the Penn Quakers on February 2.
