#18 Bears Take Down #17 George Washington, Fall To #12 Penn and #1 Princeton

Providence, R.I. - Brown coach Stuart leGassick was pleased with his team's overall play in three matches this weekend, but was ecstatic about the Bears' 6-3 win over #17 George Washington. The 18th ranked men's squash team also lost matches to #1 Princeton and #12 Penn.
After dropping matches at numbers one and two to the Colonials, leGassick's squad captured six of the next seven matches. Senior Eamon O'Conner set the pace with a marathon three-game win at number three. Freshman Jack Blasberg earned a solid 3-0 win at number four, while senior Chris Holter came through at number five, 3-1.
The Bears were victorious at number seven, with Philip Holberton taking a 3-0 decision. Junior Charles Lebovitz and senior Alex Hsu each captured 3-0 decisions at numbers eight and nine, respectively.
The Bears are back in action on Wednesday, February 6 at Yale.
