#9 Brown Women's Squash Splits With Columbia and Cornell

The ninth-ranked Brown women's squash team split matches with Columbia and Cornell, defeating the Lions, 6-3, at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, Conn., and falling to the Big Red, 9-0, in Ithaca, N.Y.

Brown's win over Columbia was led by senior Sarah Crosky at number three, earning an 11-2, 11-3, 11-5 win over the Lions. Junior Sarah Domenick was a 3-0 winner at number four, while sophomore Katherine Elliott-Moskwa came away with a 3-1 win at number five.

The Bears also had strong wins from freshman Skylar Murphy at number seven (3-2), senior Sarah Beresford at number eight (3-0) and junior Kathryn Yates at the nine position (3-0).

Coach Stuart leGassick's team will be back in action on Wednesday, January 16 at Western Ontario, starting at 1:30 pm.
