
Women's Squash Enjoys Maine Hospitality With Wins Over Bowdoin and Colby

The Brown women's squash team, ranked 11th nationally, enjoyed its trip north to Maine and came away with victories over Bowdoin, 9-0, and Colby, 8-1. The Bears are now 8-3 overall.
In the two matches, eight Brown players earned wins against both Colby and Bowdoin. Sophomore Sarah Domenick (3-0, 3-1), junior Sarah Crosky (3-0, 3-0), freshman Mina Shakarshy (3-0, 3-0), freshman Katherine Elliott-Moskwa (3-0, 3-0), junior Lydia Smith (3-0, 3-0), senior Erika Kohnen (3-0, 3-0), junior Kyla Harrington (3-0, 3-0), and junior Sarah Beresford (3-0, 3-0) each won matches against Colby and Bowdoin, respectively, at numbers two through nine. Sophomore Dori Rahbar, playing number one, lost a tough match to Colby (11-5, 11-4, 6-11, 19-17), and earned an 11-4, 11-3, 11-13, 11-9 win vs. Bowdoin.
Brown will be back in action again next Saturday, February 4 against Penn and Drexel in Philadelphia, and on Sunday, February 5 against Princeton in New Jersey.
