
Men's Squash Sweeps Bowdoin and Colby

Coach Stuart leGassick's men's squash team came away with two victories in the Pine Tree State on Saturday, beating Colby, 9-0, and battling for a 5-4 win over Colby. The wins lift the 16th ranked Bears to a 6-4 overall record.
The match against Bowdoin was especially exciting with sophomore Blake Reison leading the way with a hard-fought 11-13, 11-7, 12-10, 11-8 victory at number one. Senior Brad Thompson came through at number two, winning 11-7, 11-6, 11-6.
The Bears had strong wins by senior Tucker Bryan at number five, 11-5, 8-11, 11-4, 12-10, and junior Alex Hsu at number six, 11-3, 11-7, 9-11, 11-5. The day's longest match came at number eight, with sophomore Charles Lebovitz coming away with an 11-8, 7-11, 12-14, 11-6, 11-7 marathon decision.
Brown travels to Philadelphia on February 4 to face #10 Penn and Drexel, and then on to Princeton, New Jersey to battle #3 Princeton on February 5.
