Bears Drop Matches To Yale, Cornell and Williams

The 12th ranked Brown men's squash team's four-match win streak came to an ending with losses to #11 Williams, 8-1, #2 Yale, 9-0, and #5 Cornell, 8-1. Despite the losses, head coach Stuart leGassick saw a new determination in the matches against the Elis and Big Red.
Sophomore Alex Hsu earned Brown's lone point in the Williams match, earning a hard fought 11-9, 11-4, 4-11, 11-9 victory at number eight. leGassick was especially pleased with the play of freshman Blake Reinson against Cornell. Reinson played exceptionally well at number three against the Big Red, capturing a 12-10, 6-11, 11-8, 11-9 decision.
The Bears are back in action on Saturday at Dartmouth, and return home on Sunday, February 13, to host George Washington at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
