
Womens' Squash Tops George Washington, Falls To Dartmouth

Providence, RI - In its final regular season competition of the 2011 season, the Brown women's squash team traveled to Dartmouth and lost, 9-0, before returning to the friendly confines of the Pizzitola Sports Center to earn a 9-0 victory.
Against the Big Green, the middle order of the ladder matched up well. Indeed, senior Sophie Scherl lost 2 match balls in the fifth game, and freshman Dori Rahbar, senior Carolyn Tilney and sophomore Lydia Smith all fell in well-contested four game matches.
Head coach Stuart leGassick called the 9-0 win over George Washington, "a complete team effort."
The Bears are now preparing to travel to Princeton for the Howe Cup, where they are the #1 seeds for the Kurtz Cup. The squad opens play at11:30am on Friday 18th at Jadwin Gym.
