
Men's Squash Team Beats George Washington, Topped By Dartmouth

Providence, RI - The men's squash team traveled to Hanover and lost, 8-1, to a strong Big Green squad, but returned to the Pizzitola Sports Center on Sunday for a home match up against George Washington, winning, 7-2.
The highlights for the Bears against Dartmouth came from senior captain Evan Besser who won in a gritty five set match at #9. Freshman Blake Reinson also played a tremendous match maintaining his good form - but could not convert two match balls at #3, and lost in five games. Sophomore Eamon O'Connor at #5, junior Brad Thompson at #2, and freshman Tod Holberton at #8, lost in 4 games.
The Egyptian pairing at #1 and #2 won out against senior captain Adrian Leanza and junior Brad Thompson, respectively. Other notable play again came from Besser '11, won in five games and sophomore Chris Holter, who was 2-1 down in games and came back to win in 5 games.
The Bears are preparing to play the National Champions Trinity at the Pizzitola at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16.
