
Bears Fall to Harvard, 5-2

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown men's tennis team (10-14, 0-5)
dropped a 5-2 decision to visiting Harvard (12-10, 3-2) on Friday
afternoon at the Pizzitola Center Indoor Courts. The Bears dropped
the doubles point, but earned wins at #2 and #3 singles to account
for the 5-2 score. Freshmen Mike Hill (Topsham, ME) and Tom Deighton (London, England) both won for Brown in straight sets to
lead the Bears. The wins brought the Bears to within 3-2 at the
time, but the Crimson claimed the final two matches to earn the
victory. Brown returns to action on Sunday when it travels to
Dartmouth to face the Big Green in a 12:00 noon match.
