Bears 16th After Day One of Claud Jacobs Invitational at Texas State

Victoria, Texas- After day one of play at the Claud Jacobs Intercollegiate Women's Golf Tournament on the par 72, 6028-yard course at the Victoria Country Club, the Brown women's golf team stands in 16th place in its first competition of the spring season.
The Bears posted scores of 339-338—682 in the 16-team field. Oklahoma leads the tournament by two shots with a two-round 611.
Sophomore Carly Arison leads the Bears with a two-round 167 after shooting 83-84 for 59th place. Sophomore Megan Tuohy came in at 84-85-169, good for 65th place individually.
Bears' junior Julia Robinson shot a first round 82, Brown's top score of the day, and finished at 175 after day one. Junior Susan Restrepo shot 90-88-178, while sophomore Heather Arison came in at 94-86—180. Junior Sarah Guarascio played as an individual and shot 83-85-168.
The teams will complete the 54-hole tournament on Monday morning.
