Providence, Rhode Island - Brown senior offensive tackle Patrick Conroy (Leesburg, VA) and junior punter Nathan Lovett (East Providence, Rhode Island) have been selected Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Both Conroy and Lovett will be placed on the national CoSIDA Academic All-American ballot for Academic All-American consideration.
An American History concentrator with a 3.66 grade point average, Lovett ranks second in the Ivy League with an average of 43.4 yards per punt. Lovett had two punts vs. Cornell, averaging 42.5 yards per punt, including one inside the 20-yard line. A second team All-Ivy selection last year, Lovett averaged 39.9 yards per punt, third best in the Ivy League, while also handling the kick-off duties. His 72-yard punt against Penn in 2009 is the seventh longest in Brown football history.
