Providence, Rhode Island - In a thrilling match at the Pizzitola
Sports Center, the Brown women's squash team dropped a 5-4
decision to Williams.
The Bears trailed 3-1 with junior Sophie Scherl winning a thrilling
3-2 match at number four, taking the fifth game, 12-10. The Bears
tied the score 4-4 with wins by senior Kali Schellenberg at number
five, junior Carolyn Tilney at number seven and freshman Sarah Beresford at number nine.
Despite a valiant effort from sophomore Nikki Fadaifard at number
three, the Williams team hung on to win 3-1.
Next up is Trinity on Tuesday in Hartford, Connecticut at 5pm.
