Dylan Remick Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week
9/28/2009 12:00:00 AM | Men's Soccer
Brown rookie defender Dylan Remick (Inverness, IL) played
outstanding during the Brown men's soccer team's west
coast trip over the weekend that saw both games to the full
complement of extra-time. Because of his outstanding performance,
he was named the Ivy League's Rookie of the Week.
Remick has played an integral role in Bruno's stingy defense
that has yet to be defeated, as Brown picked up two ties against
Santa Clara and San Francisco. Against the Broncos, Remick
attempted two shots (one on goal) in 110 minutes of play, and kept
a normally potent offense at bay. He then followed with two shots
on goal, including a game-tying effort in the 81st minute of play
against the Dons. Remick is second on the team in scoring with five
points (2g, 1 assist).
The Bears are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 30, when they host
Boston University at 7:00 p.m. at Stevenson Field.
