Allison Schettini Evans

Allison Schettini Evans ’98 distinguished herself as one of the all-time greats for the women’s lacrosse program, earning IWLCA/Brine Third Team All-American honors in 1997. In addition to her All-America honor, her junior season also included First Team All-Ivy and Academic All-Ivy laurels.
In her career, Evans earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy honors as a senior and sophomore and gained her second Academic All-Ivy acknowledgment in 1998. Evans set the single-season school record for ground balls in a season in her freshman campaign and closed her career second all-time in the category with 208, just behind teammate Phoebe Koch ’98 (212).
Evans’ career numbers still stand on Brown’s top-25 list. She ranks third in goals (107), fourth in points (157), sixth in assists (50) and is tied for 22nd in draw controls (56). For a single season, in addition to ranking first in ground balls with 84 in 1995, she has the fourth-best ground ball total with 67 in 1996. She is also tied for eighth in assists with 22 in 1997, 19th in points with 46 in 1997 and is tied for 26th in points with 41 in 1996.
In 2009, Evans was inducted into the Montville Township High School Hall of Fame.
After graduation, Schettini Evans received her master’s degree and PhD in clinical psychology from Michigan State Unviersity. She completed her residency and two year postdoctoral fellowship at the Brown Medical School and then served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at one of the Brown Medical Hospitals.
Schettini Evans currently maintains a private practice in Concord, Massachusetts specializing in the neuropsychological assessment of school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults who experience learning, developmental, behavioral, emotional, neurodevelopmental, and/or medical disabilities.
