Brodsky Squash Pavilion
The Kate Brodsky Memorial Squash Pavilion is located on the third floor of the Pizzitola Sports Center. Kate Brodsky '89, a nationally ranked squash player at Brown, passed away in her freshman year.
The Brodsky Pavilion, named in her honor, houses five international glass-back squash courts, bleacher seating for up to 200 spectators, and individual court scoreboards. Brown University and the Brodsky Pavilion hosted the finals of the US Open in 1994 and 1995, respectively, and were won by Peter Nicol and Jansher Khan.
In 2010, the Brodsky Squash Pavilion underwent a $200,000 facelift. New competition surfaces, bleacher seating, environmental graphics, and a lounge area were constructed in the pavilion.
