2013: Appeared in five games as a rookie, before suffering a season-ending injury … Played against Manhattan, Holy Cross, Quinnipiac, St. Mary’s and Dartmouth … Took two shots, one each against Manhattan and St. Mary’s … Earned two ground balls and two caused turnovers on the season.
Before Brown: A four-sport athlete at Staples High School, Flaherty played lacrosse for four years, volleyball for two, ran indoor track for three years, and spent a year with the cross country squad … Named Second Team All-FCIAC Lacrosse for two years in a row as well as First Team All-FCIAC and All-State for two years … Named to The Hour All-Star Team, Connecticut Select Team, CT All-Star Team, and First Team All-American … Flaherty was also a member of the 4x400 relay that set a Staples High School record during indoor track season … A three-year Honor Roll student at Staples High School.
