2014-15: Appeared in all 29 games … Finished second among defensemen on the team with 10 points on three goals and seven assists … Led the team with 58 blocked shots with a team-high 42 blocks in league games … Posted seven points on the power play …Tallied a season-high two points in each of two games – vs. Maine (Nov. 7) and at RPI (Dec. 5) … Took 40 shots on the season.
2013-14: A mainstay for the Bears’ defense, appeared in 25 games … Tallied 19 shots on the season … Posted a season-high four shots in 2-2 tie at Yale (Jan. 24).
2012-13: Made 24 appearances during her rookie season … Tallied two goals and three assists for a total of five points, which was tied for sixth most on the team … Made 22 shots on goal and recorded 29 blocks, which was third most on the team … Selected to the ECAC All-Academic team.
Before Brown: A three-time invitee to the USA Hockey Player Development Camp, while her national teams advanced to the championships five times, twice finishing second overall and third once ... Played for the Chicago Mission Hockey Club from 2010-12 and the Illinois Hockey Club from 2003-10.
Personal: Kelly K. Micholson is the daughter of George and Christine Micholson of Elk Grove Village, Illinois … has one brother, Dan … an Honor Roll student and a member of Principal Advisory Board at Elk Grove High School … enjoys playing softball, bowling, and doing community service.
