Derek Ewing joined the men’s and women’s hockey programs as The 1976 Hall of Fame Hockey Team Director of Operations in September of 2017.
Ewing most recently spent two years with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League as the team’s Hockey Operations and Analytics Intern. In that role, Ewing handled various aspects of game film, charting activity, analytics and data through a selection of projects. He also spent time as a development coach for Brandon ice Sports Forum.
Prior to the Lighting, Ewing served as the video coordinator for the USA Hockey Women’s U15 Development Camp.
Ewing graduated from the University of Tampa in 2016 with a degree in Finance.
