Before Brown: Placed second with the varsity four at the Massachusetts State Championships as a senior … Came in second with the varsity four at the state championships as a junior … Placed fifth at the Northeast Youth Championships and eighth at NEIRAs … Raced at the 2016 Head of the Charles … Rowed for head coach Kate Smith … Won team’s Hammer Award three times … Earned 2017 Athlete of the Year honors … Competed on the club level for Cambridge Boat Club … Won three gold medals at the 2016 Independence Day Regatta and one gold medal at the 2016 Canadian Henley.

Why Brown? “I chose Brown because it has all that I was looking to pursue in college like studying computer graphics and continuing to be a part of a rowing team. The open curriculum also will allow me to perhaps take classes in unexplored areas of study for me.”
