Before Brown: Played basketball, football, and ran track at Atascocita High School. He was a two-time First Team All-District selection and two-time First Team All-Academic selection. Barron was also a National Honor Society member. Barron was named First Team All-District and First Team All-Region as a junior and senior, he was also named Newcomer of the Year as a freshman at Atascocita.
