Turner Geenty joined the Brown coaching staff as an Offensive Quality Control Assistant ahead of the 2023 season.
Before arriving on College Hill, Geenty most recently served as the Running Backs and Fullbacks Coach at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. At WPI, Geenty was responsible for breaking down and analyzing opponents and producing scouting reports, in addition to assisting with game planning. Geenty also served as the team’s social media coordinator in addition to being the team’s video coordinator and recruited from the areas of New Hampshire and Massachusetts, in addition to recruiting running backs from across the nation.
As a student-athlete at Union College, Geenty played on the offensive line for a team that ranked in the top-15 nationally in Division III. He was a three-time Academic All-Liberty League honoree for his work in the classroom and a member of Union’s Athletic Liaison Committee that worked with the athletic director on the needs of student-athletes.
Geenty graduated from Union in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in Classics, focus in Latin. He went on to earn a master’s in sports and athletic administration from Gonzaga in 2023.
