2016: Named Honorable Mention All-Ivy …. Led the team in scoring with 16 points, with a team-high eight goals while starting all 17 games … Her eight goals were a career-best output, which included one game-winning goal against Bryant (Oct. 2), in a 1-0 win … Scored goals in three straight games, spanning from a 3-2 overtime Columbia win (Sept. 24), to the 1-0 Bryant victory (Oct. 2) in which she had the game winner … Named to the Ivy League Honor Roll on Oct. 3 … Recorded the first goal in a 4-3 come-from-behind win over Yale (Nov. 5).
2015: Appeared in all 17 games for the Bears, starting 13 … Recorded one goal on the season … Her goal came against Penn on Oct. 31.
2014: Finished fourth on the team in scoring with nine points (4g, 1a) ... Started in 5-of-14 games played ... Scored goals against Bryant, Dartmouth, and Providence ... Notched the game-winner in double overtime against Harvard on October 4 ... Recorded four shots at Dartmouth on September 27.
2013: Played in 13 games, starting and making her college debut in the Bears’ season opener against Bryant … Tallied her first career point, an assist, in Brown’s 3-2 win over Rider …Totaled eight shots on the year, including five shots on goal.
Before Brown: A four-year member of the field hockey team at Andover High School, Torres also played lacrosse for four years, basketball for one year and ran track for one year … Helped to lead Andover to back-to-back Division I Championships (2010 & 2011), captaining the field hockey team in 2012 … Andover was 60-3-5 during her final three seasons with the team … Was named a three-time Boston Globe All-Scholastic, Boston Herald All-Scholastic and Eagle Tribune All-Star … Honored as the Eagle Tribune MVP in 2012 and was also a three-time All-Conference selection … Member of the 4x400 relay team that holds the Andover school record and finished 17th in the country in 2011 … Member of National Honor Society, Red Cross Club, and was on the Senior Board of Directors.
Personal: The daughter of Richard and Cathy Torres, Jaclyn has four siblings, Joshua, who played lacrosse at Providence College for four years, Jessica, Julia and Jordan … Enjoys cooking, snowboarding and waterskiing … Concentrating in Political Science.
