2014: Appeared in 16 games at midfield, while starting eleven… notched a career-high three goals, good for a tie for second place on the team … highlight was the equalizer in the 89th minute at Dartmouth on September 28, in which she also took a season-high four shots … also connected on the game-winner against Massachusetts on September 18.
2013|Stats : Appeared in 15 of 17 games, with three starts…earned her first career start against UCF…scored the game-tying goal in the Bears’ 2-1 overtime win over Northeastern…tallied six shots, including three on goal.
2012|Stats : Played in 16 of 17 games off the bench … Scored her first career goal against Harvard … Totaled four shots during the season, including one on goal.
Before Brown: A graduate of The Montgomery Academy, Katz was a three-year starter on the soccer team, and also ran indoor track, outdoor track and cross country … Katz led the 2011 soccer team in goals (26) and assists (17), and was named to the Montgomery All-Metro Team for three consecutive years … Also named the Montgomery Academy Female Athlete of the Year as well as the 2011 Montgomery All-Metro Player of the Year following her team’s victory in the 3A State Championship … Played club soccer for the Capital City Streaks and the Birmingham United Soccer Association … Also holds the school track record at Montgomery Academy in the javelin (110’9”) and was a 2011 3A State Champion in cross country … Member of High Honor Roll for all four years, Cum Laude Society Inductee, Honor Council President in 2012, Latin Club President, and recipient of the Highest GPA Award.
