
Gymnastics Welcomes Five to the Incoming Class of 2030

Brown gymnastics head coach Brittany Harris has announced five additions to the Bears' incoming Class of 2030.
The newcomers who will be joining the program this fall are Isla Finn, Summer Hall, Madeline Migliaro, Sarah Serrano, and Mary Vines.
“We are beyond excited to welcome Isla, Maddie, Mary, Sarah and Summer to the Brown gymnastics family," Harris said. “From the moment we got to know them throughout the recruiting process, it was clear that each of them embodies the values and culture we strive to build every day. Their talent, energy, passion, and commitment to excellence will help carry our program forward, and we cannot wait to see them thrive as members of our team and the Brown community.”

Isla Finn
5'3" | South Hamilton, Mass. | Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School | Yellow Jackets Gymnastics

Before Brown: Competed for Yellow Jackets Gymnastics…Three-time Level 10 Regional qualifier in 2024, 2025 and 2026…2023 Eastern Nationals qualifier…Class of 2026 salutatorian at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School…Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and English…National Honor Society member.
Personal: Daughter of Chi Kim…Had two older sisters, Ava and Nina.
Why Brown?: “I chose Brown because the Open Curriculum will allow me to explore my diverse interests freely, while also being able to delve deeply into the specific subject matters related to my concentration. I also felt instantly at home on campus, observing the clear community and close-knit culture, as well as the multitude of support systems available. I know I will be valued as a student, athlete, and person at Brown.”
Summer Hall
5'5" | Aldie, Va. | Lightridge High School | GMS Gymnastics

Before Brown: Competed for GMS Gymnastics…Level 10 Regional qualifier in 2024 and 2025…2025 Level 10 state beam champion…2023 Level 9 Eastern Nationals qualifier, where she finished fifth in the all-around…Graduated from Lightridge High School…National Honor Society member…Honor roll student with a cumulative GPA of 4.45.
Personal: Daughter of Erica and Ryan Hall…Has three younger siblings, Kaia, Tatum and Emory.
Why Brown?: “I chose Brown because I absolutely fell in love with the school and the incredible community that it’s made up of. I absolutely love the Open Curriculum and how it provides such an expansive and creative learning style program where I can explore my many different interests.”
Madeline Migliaro
5'3" | Lynnfield, Mass. | Lynnfield High School | Yellow Jackets Gymnastics

Before Brown: Three-time Nationals qualifier…Graduated in the top 10 of her class at Lynnfield High School…National Honor Society member…Academic Excellence Awards in History, Spanish 2 Honors, Honors Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Calculus, and Honors Physics.
Personal: Daughter of Kelly and Steven Migliaro…Has two brothers, Steven and Justin, and a sister, Charlotte.
Why Brown?: “I chose Brown because from the moment I began talking to the coaches, Sophia Hyderally and Brittany Harris, I could feel their warmth and good energy. After coming to campus for junior day, and to attend the gymnastics camp, I knew immediately that these were my people. Never before had I been with such a fun, uplifting crowd that made me feel so motivated. I knew from then on, with each returning visit that Brown was where I was meant to be. Now, after meeting the team on multiple occasions it is so clear to me that I have made the best decision of my life.”
Sarah Serrano
5'2" | Chelsea, Ala. | Chelsea High School | Legacy Gymnastics

Before Brown: Competed for Legacy Gymnastics…2025 Nationals qualifier…Five-time Regional qualifier…Five-time Alabama state all-around champion…2023 Eastern Nationals qualifier…2023 Regional all-around champion…Class of 2026 valedictorian at Chelsea High School…Served as Vice-President of the French National Honor Society as a junior and President as a senior…National Honor Society member…National Technical Honor Society…Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society member.
Personal: Daughter of Magali and Nelson Serrano…Has two brothers, Nelson III and Elias.
Why Brown?: “I chose Brown because it felt like a place where I wouldn’t have to choose between being an athlete, a student, and a person still figuring things out. It allows me to challenge myself academically, supports my goals in gymnastics, and gives me the freedom to explore who I want to become.”
Mary Vines
5'5" | Hoover, Ala. | Homewood High School | JamJev Gymnastics

Before Brown: Competed for JamJev Gymnastics…2026 Level 10 Development Nationals and Regional qualifier…2025 Level 10 Development Nationals qualifier and Regional champion on beam…2024 Level 10 state champion on beam and Regional qualifier…2023 Level 9 Eastern National and Regional qualifier while capturing the state championship on vault, floor and all-around…Attended Homewood High School…National Honor Society and French National Honor Society member…Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society member…Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leader...Honor Graduate.
Personal: Daughter of Adam Vines and Melissa Dameron-Vines.
Why Brown?: “I chose Brown because it satisfies my love of learning, gymnastics, and meeting new people. I love Brown’s Open Curriculum because I can take advantage of the multitude of rigorous classes offered to me, along with the many study abroad options I can choose from. I also believe Brown is the best place to prepare me for my future career.”
