PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Volleyball head coach Taylor Virtue has announced the program's 2026 schedule, the slate features seven home games at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
"I am excited to announce the release of our 2026 competition schedule," Virtue said. "For the third year we will be competing in the Ocean State Cup which is comprised of the four Division I teams in the state of Rhode Island, this year hosted at the University of Rhode Island. Our second weekend of competition will be a homecoming for our athletes from Southern California, Sophia Wolfson, Julia Kakkis, Sarah Shaw, and Frankie Jones as we travel to Long Beach, California for a tournament at Long Beach State. We are rounding out our non-conference schedule at Fairfield University where we will face some great regional competition that will prepare us for our Ivy schedule."
The Bears will kick off the season spending the first three weekends on the road. Their 2026 campaign starts at Rhode Island for the Ocean State Cup (Sept. 4-6) with matches against Providence, Rhode Island, and Bryant. Brown will then make the trip to Long Beach State for a matchup against The Beach and LMU (Sept. 11-12).
Non-conference play concludes with games against Fairfield, Middle Tennessee and Central Connecticut at Fairfield (Sept. 18-19).
Ivy League play begins for the Bears with three-straight home games against Yale (Sept. 26), Dartmouth (Oct. 2), and Harvard (Oct. 3). Brown will also host Cornell and Columbia on Oct. 16 and 17, respectively, before closing out the season hosting Princeton (Nov. 13) and Penn (Nov. 14).
Brown's first Ivy League road weekend will be a trip to Penn (Oct. 9) and Princeton (Oct. 10). The Bears will play a five-game road swing from Oct. 24-Nov. 7 when the Bears travel to Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia and Cornell.
