No. 9 Women's Crew Readies for Ivy Invitational, Columbia and BU Races

PRINCETON, N.J. - Coming off a dominant five-win performance against No. 23 Dartmouth on the Seekonk last weekend, No. 9 Brown women's crew readies for a weekend full of racing in New Jersey.
Starting on Saturday morning at 8:16 a.m. at Lake Carnegie, the Bears will race in the Ivy Invitational for the first time since the 2023-24 season. At the 2024 Ivy Invite, Brown crews won 10 of the 12 races they competed in.Â
On Sunday at 10 a.m., Brown will take on Columbia and Boston University in Bergen County, N.J., at Overpeck Park. The Bears last saw Columbia on the first day of the 2025 Ivy Championship, defeating the Lions and securing a spot in the Grand Final.
Brown's last race against Boston University took place at the 2025 Eastern Sprints, where the Bears defeated the Terriers in their heat race and advanced to the Grand Final, eventually earning a second-place finish.
