PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown University's Division of Athletics and Recreation will become an Enterprise Member of Women Leaders in Sports, Mencoff Vice President for Athletics and Recreation M. Grace Calhoun announced today. This partnership will provide professional development opportunities open to all members of the Division.
"I am proud to have long been a member, leader and advocate for Women Leaders, and we are thrilled to grow our partnership with this terrific organization," Calhoun said. "I have been fortunate to significantly benefit from my participation over the course of my career, and we are eager to share this opportunity with all of our staff here at Brown."
Women Leaders in Sports is an organization which brings together a powerful community of sports-industry leaders to foster the growth, performance and success of members in every stage of their careers. The organization has continued to evolve over four decades and creates meaningful opportunities for members to develop the skills, confidence and connections to grow their careers.
Members of the Brown Athletics and Recreation staff will be able to network with other industry leaders and participate in programming designed around the five pillars of performance, presence, influence, mindset and career strategy.
