Women's Crew Releases 2026 Spring Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown women's crew has released its full 2026 spring schedule on Thursday, Feb. 19.Â
The Bears, who enter the spring ranked No. 7 in the country in the CRCA preseason poll, will begin competition by traveling to New Jersey for a ranked Ivy League race against No. 6 Princeton on March 28. One week later on April 4, Brown will host its lone home race of the season as Dartmouth travels to Providence to compete on the Seekonk River.Â
The Ivy Invitational is next on the docket, taking place on April 11 in Princeton, New Jersey. The Bears will compete the next day on April 12 in New Jersey as they face No. 22 Columbia and Boston University.Â
After an extra weekend to prepare, Brown will head back to New York, this time to face the Cornell Big Red on April 25. The Eastern Sprints are next on May 3, taking place at their usual location on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Bears raced six boats at last year's Eastern Sprints, with all six finishing in the top three of their respective Grand Finals. The Varsity Eight came in second place with a time of 6:53.375, finishing behind Rutgers (6:47.063).
The Ivy League Championships are scheduled to take place on May 16 and May 17 in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Brown won the bronze medal at last year's Ivy League Championships, finishing behind Princeton (06:01.186) and Yale (06:05.066) with a time of 06:07.861. The 2026 NCAA Championships are scheduled for May 29-31 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia.Â
