Women's Crew Ranks Seventh in CRCA Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown women's crew will enter the season yet again as one of the premier programs in the country, as the Bears are ranked No. 7 in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Preseason Poll. Brown has been ranked in both seasons under Loyalty Chair for Women's Crew Tessa Gobbo-Zimmerman '13.Â
The Bears finished sixth in the Grand Final at last year's NCAA Championship.
The Ivy League has six programs ranked in the top twenty-five to start the season, with Yale (No. 2), Princeton (No. 6), Harvard (No. 13), Penn (No. 16), and Columbia (No. 22) rounding out the rankings.
The spring season begins on March 28 at No. 6 Princeton.Â
