8/20/2025 12:06:00 PM | Men's Basketball
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown Men's Basketball Head Coaching Chair Mike Martin '04 has announced the program's 2025-26 schedule, a 28-game slate that features 14 non-conference games and 14 games at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
"We're excited about the schedule we've put together for the upcoming season," Martin said. "It's very important for us to play our local rivals in the state of Rhode Island. There will be difficult challenges against quality teams that will test us early and often throughout November and December as we aim to play our best basketball come Ivy League play."
Prior to the start of the regular season, Brown will host UMass for an exhibition (Oct. 19) at 4 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center. Details will be provided leading up to the contest.
The Bears will open the 2025-26 regular season with two consecutive games at home against Siena (Nov. 4) and Vermont (Nov. 9).
Brown will host the second installment of the College Hill Classic, which will feature Brown, Hampton, and Holy Cross. Brown will open the event against Hampton (Nov. 14) before taking on Holy Cross (Nov. 18).
In addition, Brown will take on in-state rivals Rhode Island (Dec. 2), Bryant (Dec. 5), and Providence (Dec. 9). The Bears will also take a trip to Los Angeles to take on USC (Dec. 21).
Ivy League play begins at home against Yale (Jan. 5). Three out of Brown's first four Ivy League games will be inside the Pizzitola Sports Center with contests against Columbia (Jan. 17) and Cornell (Jan. 19). The Ivy League slate also features a three-game road trip at Yale (Feb. 6), Harvard (Feb. 13), and Dartmouth (Feb. 14).
The 2025-26 regular season will end at home against Penn (Mar. 6).
Ivy Madness, which features the top four teams in the regular season standings, will take place from March 14-15 at Cornell.
Season tickets for Brown men's basketball will go on sale Sept. 10.
