
Annie Burton and Codi Johnson Tabbed IWLCA Second Team All-Northeast Region

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Annie Burton and Codi Johnson of the Brown women's lacrosse team have been named IWLCA Second Team All-Northeast Region, the organization announced on Friday.
Last week, Burton was named a Second Team All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine, she became the eighth Bear to be recognized by the organization, with the previous seven being named Honorable Mentions. Burton is also the second USA Lacrosse All-American under head coach Katrina Dowd, joining Mia Mascone last season. Burton was also named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List in March, becoming the third Bear to be named to the Watch List, she was also named First Team All-Ivy.
The Chatham, N.J. native finished the 2025 season with 17 goals and 57 assists, 57 assists are the most in a single season in program history. At the Ivy League Tournament, Burton became the second player in program history to eclipse 100 career assists, joining Lauren Becker '86. She also posted her 100th career point on Feb. 21 against Holy Cross.
Johnson was named Second Team All-Ivy after starting and appearing in all 17 games. She Silver Spring, Md. native had a team-high 18 caused turnovers and finished with 19 draw controls.Â
Johnson recorded two or more draw controls in seven games and two or more caused turnovers in five games. The sophomore also accumulated a career-high 14 ground balls.
