COACH'S QUOTE
"We were able to see a lot from many of our younger and more inexperienced athletes at Northeastern 7s," said Kathleen Flores Women's Rugby head coach Rosalind Chou. "We got a bit of a slow start but once we started to build momentum, we got better each match. I was really impressed with many of the underclassmen, like freshmen Yona Allouche, Genie Dickens, and Caitlin Moroney. Some of our 'newer to rugby' athletes really stood out as well like Laryssa Barbosa, Olivia Baptiste, and recent addition Court Cummings. Overall, we saw some really exciting rugby and have some really great data points moving into our next tournament."
UP NEXT
The Bears will return to action next week at home when they host the Brown 7s tournament. They will feature two sides in the tournament.
