Winthrop Claims High Point Rider, Equestrian Finished Fourth at URI Show

Ashaway, R.I. - Brown competed at the University of Rhode Island show and finished fourth place overall.Â
Freshman Micaela Winthrop tied for the Overall High Point Rider and won the tiebreaker after a Horsemanship quiz with the show judge. Winthrop placed first in Limit Flats Section B and third in Intermediate Fences Section A. Freshman Isabella Cope finished third in Intermediate Fences Section B.
Sophomores Lana Khalidi and Adelynne Crisfield both placed first in their respective Limit Fences. Khalidi claimed first in Section A and Crisfield claimed first in Section C. Sophomore Sofia Ene placed fifth in Limit Fences Section B.Â
Sophomore Emmanuelle Bal placed first in Introductory Flat and sophomore Ashley Luo finished second in Pre Novice Flat.
Brown's final Show of the fall season will take place next Saturday at 9 am in Ashaway, R.I.
