
Churchill, Hickton qualify for Regional Shows at RWU Show

REHOBOTH, Mass - Brown Equestrian tied for second place with Rhode Island at the Roger Williams Show on Saturday. Johnson & Wales claimed first in the show.
Junior Bridget Hickton placed fourth in Open Fences and fifth in the Intermediate Flats, qualifying her for the Intermediate Flat regional. Hickton also pointed into the Open Flat.
Freshman Isabella Cope was awarded the overall High Point Rider Award after placing first in both the Intermediate Fences and Limit Flat Section B.
Junior Cassady Churchill finished first in the Limit Flat Section A, qualifying her for the Limit Flat regional. Churchill also pointed into the Intermediate Flats.
Senior Abigail Grove finished third in the Novice Flat, as senior Catalina Coral finished fourth.
Sophomore Emmanuelle Bal placed third in the Introductory Flat, as junior Diqiu Liu finished fourth.
Sophomore Lana Khalidi finished third in the Limit Fences and sophomore Jenny You placed third in the Pre Novice Flat.
The Bears will return to action on Saturday, October 25, for their Home Show in Warren, R.I.
