Brown Athletics Enhances Partnership with Narragansett Brewery, Announces Hi-NeighBEAR! Pale Ale

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Athletics and Narragansett Brewery have partnered again to release a second Brown Athletics-themed beer, the Hi-NeighBEAR! Pale Ale.
"We are excited to continue our partnership with Narragansett Brewery in this way, highlighting our connection with our hometown," Mencoff Vice President for Athletics and Recreation M. Grace Calhoun '92, Ph.D. said. "Hi-NeighBEAR! will be a terrific addition to the fan experience at Brown events and in the greater Providence community."
In addition to being available at Brown Athletics home events with concession sales, Hi-NeighBEAR! will be available at select retail locations in the Providence area, including the Narragansett Brewery on Tockwotton Street, High Spirits on North Main Street, Bottles in the Eastside Marketplace Plaza, and The Den on Wickenden Street. Additional distribution points will be added in the coming weeks.
"The Hi-NeighBear! Beer is practically a liquid embodiment of my life considering that I grew up in Fox Point, graduated from Brown University, and have spent the last five years here at our brewery in India Point Park," said Mark Hellendrung '90, CEO and Owner of Narragansett Brewing.
The Hi-NeighBEAR! name was selected after a contest where fans submitted more than 600 unique ideas. Providence native Zoe Goldenberg-Hart was crowned the winner with the Hi NeighBEAR! submission.
