Women’s Hockey Announces 2024-25 Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Head Coach Melanie Ruzzi has announced the 2024-25 Brown Bears schedule. The slate features 29 regular season games and the 2025 ECAC postseason.
The Bears open the season with a home-and-home series against Franklin Pierce (Oct. 18-19) before kicking off ECAC conference play with 10 consecutive league matchups.
The Bears take on the Providence College Friars in the Mayor's Cup across town on Saturday, November 30 before returning home the following afternoon to host Holy Cross (Dec. 1). Brown closes out the first half of the season on the road against Rensselaer (Dec. 6) and Union (Dec. 7).
Brown opens the new calendar year at the East/West Showcase in Minneapolis, taking on Minnesota (Jan. 3) and Bemidji State (Jan. 4) before returning to College Hill to close out the non-conference slate against Sacred Heart (Jan. 8).
The Bears close out the season with 10 straight ECAC games, culminating with a final weekend road trip to Cornell (Feb. 14) and Colgate (Feb. 15), two NCAA Tournament teams a season ago.
The ECAC Playoffs begin the following weekend with the First Round Games.
