Equestrian Takes Second at Ivy Show

ITHACA, N.Y. – Brown equestrian finished up its season at the Ivy Show at Cornell where the Bears finished second as a team.

In the Open Fences competition, Bridget Hickton and Julia Byrne each placed second. Sophia Ekstrand and Samantha Weinerman both took fifth.

Ekstrand finished third in the Open Flat, while Weinerman finished fifth.

In the Intermediate Flat, Sydney Fritz finished in second place, while Byrne took third. Fritz also finished fourth in the Intermediate Fences.

Lauren Lee-Hing finished second overall in the Limit Championship for the Bears. Lee-Hing was third in the Limit Fences and second in the Limit Flat. Ariana Zwern was third for Brown in the Limit Flat, while Judy Lee took sixth in the Limit Fences.

In the Novice Flat competition, both Lauren Zhou and Jessica Jacyno placed third, while Airel Montague finished fifth.

Charlize Sentosa won the Pre-novice Flat and finished third in the Novice/Pre-Novice Championship Final.

Lara Nahcivan was second in the Pre-Novice flat and Catalina Coral placed third in the Introductory flat.
