Brown Equestrian Team Places Third at Rhode Island Show

ASHAWAY, R.I.- The Brown equestrian team placed third overall at the Rhode Island Show on Saturday.
Samantha Weinerman earned Brown a win after placing first in the Open Over Fences. She also went on to finish sixth in the Open Flat.
Julia Byrne finished in second place alongside Bridget Hickton in the Intermediate Flat. Amber Keown-Lang also competed in the competition ending in sixth place.
Judy Lee came in second place for the Limit Fences competition. Sydney Fritz followed behind Lee, finishing in third place. Lauren Lee-Hing finished in sixth place.
Lauren Lee-Hing and Sydney Fritz both tied for third place in the Limit Flat. Orly Richter also competed in the event finishing in sixth place.
Four riders competed in the Novice Flat. Ariana Zwern came in second place, followed by Jessica Jacyno in third, Lauren Zhou in fourth, and Ariel Montague in sixth place.
Charlize Sentosa took third place in the Introductory Flat.
UP NEXT
The Bears will be back in action on Sunday, where they will be competing in the Roger Williams Show at Hunter Ridge.
