
Gymnastics Tabbed Fourth in GEC Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown gymnastics team has been picked fourth in the Gymnastics East Conference Preseason Poll. The preseason rankings were voted upon by the league's eight head coaches.
Penn, who has won each of the last two GEC titles, was the preseason favorite, receiving six of the eight first place votes. Yale finished in second place with the other two first place votes. West Chester came in third with 39 points, one spot ahead of Brown who was picked fourth with 38 points.
The Bears are coming off a third place finish at last year's GEC Championships and have finished in the top four in each of the first three years of the GEC, including a runner-up showing in 2022. The 2025 champion will be determined at the 2025 GEC Championships on March 22 in Philadelphia.
The 2025 squad is set to open up the season on Friday, January 10 with a tri-meet at Iowa State against the host Cyclones and the University of Iowa.
