
Men's Water Polo Earns Four All-NWPC Honorees

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's water polo had four members named All-NWPC, the league announced on Wednesday.
Ilias Stothart was named to the First Team, Dimitris Kratimenos and Máté Tymcyna were named to the Second Team and Mac Berry was named Honorable Mention.
Stothart earned his second-straight First Team All-NWCP honor after leading Brown with 87 goals and 74 ejections drawn. The junior also led the Bears with 32 drawn penalties, and collected 16 steals, eight assists and four blocks.
Kratimenos was named Second Team All-NWPC as a freshman as he led Brown in net with 141 saves. He also picked up nine steals and seven assists. Kratimenos posted a season-best 19 saves in a one-goal win over Navy and had six games with at least 10 saves.
Tymcyna was named Second Team All-NWPC for the first time in his career after finishing second on the team in both goals (74) and assists (50) on route to lead the Bears in points with 124. The sophomore also had 18 steals, 11 ejections drawn and nine blocks.
Berry earned Honorable Mention honors for the first time in his career. Berry finished the season with 38 goals, third on the team and added 19 assists and 19 ejections drawn. Berry also collected 12 steals and six blocks.
