
Men’s Basketball Picked Third in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's basketball team was selected third in the Ivy League preseason poll, the league announced on Tuesday.
In the poll, the Bears earned 92 total votes and were the lone team besides the Ivy League favorite Princeton to receive a first-place vote. This is the second consecutive season the Bears have been picked in the top-four of the Ivy League preseason poll, Brown was picked fourth ahead of the 2023-24 season. This is the highest preseason projection for the Bears under Head Men's Basketball Coaching Chair Mike Martin '04.
The Bears are coming off their first-ever Ivy League Tournament appearance and first-ever trip to the Ivy League Championship game.
The top-four teams will earn spots to Ivy Madness, Ivy Madness will take place from March 14-16 at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Brown will begin its season on Nov. 4 when they travel to Siena, tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
