PROVIDENCE, R.I – Mia Karine Myklebust, Kiersten Smith and Lucy Adams all scored for the Bears (5-6, 2-2 Ivy) to take down Quinnipiac (2-12, 0-4 Big East) Monday afternoon as Kylee Del Monte earned her second shutout of the season.

"The team fulfilled the game plan today for 60 minutes. That focus to stay on task and make adaptations to our play will help us as we continue to develop," said Head Coach Britt Broady.

Mia Karine Myklebust opened up the scoring less than 10 minutes into the game as she recorded her first goal of the afternoon. Katie McCallum earned the assist.

The remainder of the Bears goals all came in the span of seven minutes in the third quarter.

"Our game today was a full-connected team effort," said senior Imogen Govan. "We were able to build a lot of attack and were dangerous in the circle."

The Bears produced the entire 60 minutes earning a 21-4 shot advantage over the Bobcats.

Mia Karine Myklebust recorded her second goal of the afternoon less than two minutes into the third, she was assisted by Zoe Lawrence.

Just about five minutes later, freshman Kiersten Smith recorded a goal, the assist was credited to Lucy Adams.

Just one minute after Smith, Adams recorded a goal, unassisted.

Goalkeeper Kylee Del Monte recorded her second shutout of the season Monday afternoon. Del Monte saw four shots and made three big saves for the Bears.

"Everyone played well, there were so many positives," said Catie Summers. "We have a lot to look forward to, and we're going to work really hard to prepare for Columbia."

The Bears return home Friday to host Columbia. The game is set to begin at Goldberger Family Field at 3 p.m. and will be streaming on ESPN+.

Brown held a 10-3 penalty corner advantage over the Bobcats.
