Cierra Jenkins Named Ivy League Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown volleyball senior setter Cierra Jenkins earned Ivy League Player of the Week honors after guiding the Bears to a 4-0 week.
Jenkins averaged 11.33 assists per set, 3.00 digs per set and 1.33 kills per set as Brown moved its record to 7-0 on the year, the best start in program history.
The Orlando, Fla., native started the week with 24 assists and four kills against Stonehill. Against George Mason, Jenkins posted a 40-assist, 17-dig effort with three kills. In a three-set win over Radford, Jenkins posted 32 assists with seven digs, five kills and two blocks. She finished off her week with another 40-assist game, tallying nine digs and four kills.
Jenkins currently leads the Ivy League with 10.50 assists per set and is second in the league with 231 total assists. Jenkins is also 29th in the NCAA in assists per set.
