Wrestling Introduces Class of 2027
7/3/2023
Jordan Leen, the Marvin Wilenzik '56 Head Coaching Chair for Brown Wrestling, has announced the incoming class of 2027.
Set to compete on the mat for the Bears next season and beyond are Dominic Frontino, Alex Hamrick, Colby Isabelle, Austin McBurney, Ethan Mojena and Nico Romero.
“We are pleased with the way our 2023 recruiting class came together," said Leen. “The class exceeded our expectations, largely because each individual continued to improve this past year. We targeted prospects that we projected would eventually break through based on the way they live, train, and compete.”
"It was nice to celebrate some of those break-through achievements with them even before arriving on College Hill. Ethan Mojena captured a National Prep Championship and was recognized as the No. 72 overall prospect in the country by Flowrestling, and Dom Frontino knocked off several nationally ranked foes to earn the recognition as the nations No. 99 overall prospect.”
